He is well known for his work in field of Obstructive Sleep Apnea, He is the second Indian to receive the HELEN E DEWEL award for the best research article for year 2018 form American Journal of Orthodontics.
His passion is to guide the students for post graduate preparation. When he Joined GDC Aurangabad as an assistant professor started to guide the students for MDS entrance preparation from 2015. He started DENTAL SEED in Aurangabad, Maharashtra. Hundreds of students are perusing PG in different institutes all over India. In the year 2019 maximum number of PG students to join Govt. Dental College in Maharashtra are from DENTAL SEED academy.
Dr. Chandrakant Shete, not only give NEET exams yearly to know the exam pattern, but also secures rank. Last year NEET 2018-19 he secured NEET AI 164 Rank. It is rarely seen someone who is guiding the students for MDS entrance & also have courage to give exams just for the benefits of the students.
